Hello & welcome to my website. I basically wanted to create this site for the purpose of fulfilling all my web needs, in describing who I am and what i'm all about. In the future (near, hopefully), I will be adding a sleugh of new features here, for example, a blog, message board, and photo album. Please feel free to explore and enjoy yourself, as well as leave oh so important user-experience comments, so I can make my site as good and great as can be. Thanks a lot!
Well, if you haven't figured it out already, my name is Julian Goins. The clickable links to the right of you are just a couple of the things I enjoy and hold dear in my life. Enough cannot be said about food, more specifically, gourmet food. Barbequeing is my absolute specialty. The Weber grill and I are one. I will include some other top-notched recipies I have tried, or am definitely willing to try from a variety of sources. I will also try to include some of my favorite gourmet chefs, for example Gordon Ramsey or Cat Cora.
In the "My Stuff" section, I will be discussing some of the things I have done in the past, for example a portfolio of website I have done for personal/client purposes, some of the great and awesome projects I have done at Cal in the EECS (Electrical Engineering Computer Sceinces) department as well as some of the specialized projects I have done while in high school or at m junior college DVC (Diablo Valley College). In this section, I will also include the previous job positions I have held.
In the "Way of Life" section, I will be discussing what type of activities are included in my daily life. I try really hard to be "normal", but then goes the question, what is "normal"? Whether it deals with handling the day-to-day activities of managing my health challenges to dealing with adapting to different changes within the world today, I will be talking and describing everything here.
In the "Things to Enjoy" section, I will be discussing the types of things I really enjoy. This includes video games, movies, computers (more specifically, hacking), animals, the Oakland Raiders, among other things that I really enjoy in my life.
In the "GQ" section, I will be discussing all my favorite articles and pictures in my favorite magazine.
In the "Health" section, I will be discussing and describing what types of health challenges I go through. I will also be discussing why staying on top of my health is the difference between suffering and not knowing what is going on with my body and knowing what is going on with my body/system and getting the right treatment to feel better and life a more enjoyable life.
In the "Relationships" section, I will be discussing all the different relationships I have, whether it be my family here in the bay area, to my extended family out back in the south, more specifically Tennessee and Atlanta. Oh, and I definitely won't forget about my awesome friends I have here and beyond and why my friendships within my church have been absoluely life-changing.
In the "Television" section, I will be discussing my favorite TV shows that I absolutely love. Some that are definitely worth mentioning include the awesome The O.C., E.R., Grey's Anatomy, House, all the CSI series, all the Law & Order series, as well as many more. This is definitely worth mentioning: since the invention of the DVR (Digital Video Recorder), my life has simply not been the same. This one device has transformed my way of watching and storing TV, as well as taken up a massive amount of "lazy time.".
Above & beyond all links I will include within this site, here are some of my absolute favorites in which I use basically every day. As some of my good friends already know, I spend a very high percentage of my day online, and definitely on the computer.

First off, I want to apologize for not keeping my word. I have been wanting badly to go for the plunge and finish creating and editing this site, but despite recent events that are going on in my life at the moment, I have been unable to. As most webmasters know and understand, it is really hard work which requires a fantastic amount of dedication & patience to keep a website running, not to mention up-to-date.
I am still in search of new content and pictures (a lot of pictures) to include in this site. If anyone has any nice creative and fun ideas, I welcome your opinion(s). Although this stuff isn't new to me, I have yet (in many years) to find time to create a personal website that includes everything about me and gives a 360 degree view of to what type of person I am. I usually just focus on the needs of my clients.
As I have said, if anyone has any great ideas and opinions, please send everything to my email address @: juveluve@gmail.com. Thanks a lot!
